Presiden Prabowo Subianto menilai perekonomian Indonesia tidak efisien. Terlihat dari level Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) yang tinggi, di atas negara tetangga.
“ICOR kita dinilai angkanya 6 ICOR tetangga kita beberapa ICOR-nya 4 atau 5 artinya kita dinilai lebih tidak efisien dari ekonomi negara tetangga kita. Bahkan tidak efisiennya itu dinilai 30%,” ungkap Prabowo dalam penyerahan Daftar Isian Pelaksanaan Anggaran (DIPA) di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Selasa (10/12/2024)
ICOR mencerminkan besarnya tambahan kapital (investasi) baru yang dibutuhkan untuk menaikkan satu unit output dalam mendukung pencapaian pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan nasional.Nilai ICOR diperoleh dengan membandingkan besarnya tambahan kapital dengan tambahan output.
Semakin besar nilai koefisien ICOR, maka semakin tidak efisien perekonomian pada periode waktu tertentu. Berlaku juga sebaliknya.Banyak faktor yang membuat nilai ICOR Indonesia tinggi mulai dari sarana infrastruktur yang kurang memadai, ruwetnya birokrasi, ongkos produksi, hingga tingginya biaya logistik.
Prabowo ingin penggunaan e-katalog dapat menyelesaikan persoalan ketidakefisienan dalam perekonomian nasional.
