Rupiah terdepresiasi tipis terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) bersamaan dengan sikap menunggu hasil Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) kuartal III-2024 Indonesia yang akan dirilis Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS).
Dilansir dari Refinitiv, rupiah ditutup melemah 0,22% di angka Rp15.750/US$ pada hari ini, Senin (04/11/2024). Hal ini selaras dengan pelemahan yang terjadi kemarin (01/11/2024) yakni sebesar 0,16%.
Sementara DXY pada pukul 14:55 WIB turun 0,44% di angka 103,82. Angka ini lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan posisi kemarin yang berada di angka 104,28.
Pelaku pasar saat ini sedang menunggu data yang akan dirilis oleh BPS yakni pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia untuk kuartal III-2024.
Konsensus pasar yang dihimpun CNBC Indonesia dari 15 institusi memperkirakan pertumbuhan ekonomi mencapai 5,03% (year on year/yoy) dan 1,58% (quartal to quartal/qtq) pada kuartal III atau Juli-September 2024.
Sebagai catatan, ekonomi Indonesia tumbuh 5,05 (yoy) dan 3,79% (qtq) pada kuartal II-2024. Sementara itu, ekonomi Indonesia tumbuh 4,94% (yoy) dan 1,60% (qtq) pada kuartal III-2023.
Secara historis, pertumbuhan kuartal III biasanya memang lebih rendah dibandingkan kuartal II karena masyarakat mulai mengerem belanja.
