Ketua Umum Asosiasi Tepung Terigu Indonesia (Aptindo) Franciscus (Franky) Welirang buka suara mengenai rencana kenaikan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) menjadi 12% di tahun 2025 nanti. Saat ini, PPN berlaku adalah 11%.
Menurut Franky, kenaikan PPN itu tidak akan berdampak bagi pasar mi instan dan produk berbahan terigu lainnya.
“Tidak banyak dampak sampai saat ini harga stabil,” kata Franky saat dikonfirmasi CNBC Indonesia melalui pesan singkat, dikutip Rabu (13/11/2024).
Di sisi lain, dia tidak bisa memastikan dampak kenaikan PPN akan menekan konsumsi mi instan dan produk pangan hasil terigu lainnya di dalam negeri.
“Belum tahu namun sampai saat ini belum terlihat dampaknya, harus tunggu sampai akhir tahun,” sebutnya.
Franky juga memprediksi tidak akan ada guncangan di harga tepung terigu. Di mana, saat ini, harga tepung terigu di tingkat konsumen masih bertahan di atas Rp13.000 per kg.
“Menurut pandangan saya akan stabil,” kata Franky.
Hal senada disampaikan Direktur Eksekutif Aptindo Ratna Sari Loppies.
“(Kenaikan PPN jadi 12%) tidak berdampak. Hanya masalah cashflow,” katanya kepada CNBC Indonesia.
Kalau pun ada kenaikan harga, imbuh dia, kemungkinan hanya karena efek psikologis. Dan tidak akan berdampak signifikan bagi pasar.
Dia pun mencontohkan kondisi saat harga gandum melambung tinggi efek perang Rusia-Ukraina. Hal itu, katanya, tidak lantas mengganggu konsumsi mi instan atau produk berbahan terigu lainnya. Seperti diketahui, produk-produk ini dihasilkan dari bahan baku utama berupa gandum. Indonesia sendiri mengimpor sepenuhnya kebutuhan gandum dari berbagai negara.
“Nggak akan tekan konsumsi. Lihat tren yang sudah-sudah. Nggak akan besar mengganggu konsumsi, akan sangat kecil sekali. Dari yang sudah-sudah (kenaikan harga di konsumen) nggak berpengaruh,” kata Ratna.
